Paul Richardson

Paul Richardson has lived in Spain for fifteen years and is a critically acclaimed food and travel writer.  He has written for Conde  Nast Traveller in the UK and Gourmet in the US and his books include Indulgence: One Man's Selfless Search for the Best Chocolate in the World (Little Brown, 2004); Cornucopia: A Gastronomic Tour of Britain (Little Brown, 2000) and Our Lady of the Sewers (Little Brown, 1999).  A Late Dinner (Bloomsbury, 2008), examines Spanish culture and history through food.

His most recent book, Hidden Valley (Abacus, 2023) is a glorious narrative of one man’s journey towards self-reliance. Original and thought-provoking, it is also hugely entertaining.
