Rhipsalis goebeliana is an epiphytic cactus with long, bright green, flattened and wavy, trailing stems that reach around 30cm or more in length. It has masses of small whitish-green flowers in spring to summer along the stems. Flowers are followed by small whitish berry-like fruit.
Rhipsalis like to be kept in a bright spot, away from direct sunlight. The potting mix should be well draining and kept slightly moist. A commercial orchid mix is suitable, or your own organic compost with bark pieces and perlite is ideal.
