A Competition Scheme from Concept to Contract

An international design competition conducted by IIT led to the selection of Rem Koolhaas Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) for a new campus center. The University CFO and Director of Facility Management selected Rotholz to convert the wining concept design into a comprehensive development plan seeking approval by the board of trustees. Over a 6-month period, a master project schedule was developed along with a strategic plan for contracting. Rotholz led the team in negotiating the final design agreement.
