"Self-idolatry Most desirable Do for yourself Priority Worship of self Placed before others Crush all those Who hold you back" The voices they whisper In a dark spot in your head "See what can be yours Everything Plenty of riches You could be king Plenty of diamonds Plenty of pearls Plenty of opioids Plenty of girls" A deception avoided by very few The voices they whisper: "Please suffer with us We're alone down here Come suffer with us" Another hook and chain Embedded in the soul By the weight of every vice They’re dragging you below The greatest threat to me Is that which I cannot see Whispering poison into my soul For mercy I pray and plead

Lycanthropy 05:10
With thirst for greater power Greedy for something more I long to transcend man For myself I now abhor Through all my hurt I want one thing To overpower everyone To reject a basic mortal body The beast and me now one Granted my great power By a source I shouldn’t trust What should have fulfilled me Only amplified my bloodlust Eyes reflect and glow As I prowl into the night Embrace the entity of nightmares In carnage I delight Now this is what it's like To succumb fully to the flesh The beast’s hunger outweighs my judgment As I grant the innocent gruesome deaths What have I done? What have I become? My hatred and my hunger Left a trail of innocent blood Of myself I am now scared Of me they all beware I reflect on what I've done Sorrow grips my blackened heart Lock me up and lose the key I am my own worst enemy I tasted blood and I want more My wicked flesh I now abhor Pain has been poured into me and now I pour it out I lusted for blood and now I repent Why God do I slaughter the innocent? My hate has made a killer of me Forgive me father, I now plea I lusted for blood and now I repent Why God do I slaughter the innocent? My hate for one made me a killer of all Into evil I quickly fall

You will suffer and you will suffer without me Spew your lies in the corners of my tortured mind Declare that I’m worth nothing Your forked tongue licking away my peace But I know the source for more The father of lies, I rebuke thee I am not a trophy for your collection I am not another damned soul I may not be stronger And I may not be smarter But mark my words I know one who is I wish I could put to words How mighty and loving my God is That he can take my menacing oppressor And cast him to flames The fallen’s rage is relentless For if he must fall he will take as many as possible with him They proclaim that God is dead As he lives eternally The God of life and all power His triumph forever

about

A little treat for the Halloween time of the year. Figured I'd drop something with a spooky vibe. The title track of this EP, as one would guess, is about a werewolf. But it has a double meaning as being a song about how bloodlust can consume a person to the point that killing becomes an addiction, as with many serial killers. The song talks about an addiction to killing and how some killers feel remorse and sorrow for their actions while still acting on their impulses. It is a song about how even the most wicked men are sometimes simply sick, consumed by impulsive vices of the flesh, and how killers like Ed Kemper for instance desired to be locked away to avoid hurting more people.
