A disc jockey and music producer, Idris Alli-Oke, aka Sogood, has said that one of the highlights of his career was performing alongside singer, Burna Boy.

In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, he said, “My career has been filled with a lot of great moments, and one of them was performing alongside Burna Boy at the Afronation concert, which recently held in Portugal. Other top artistes at the event included Wizkid, Chris Brown, Megan The Stallion and Davido.

“I am coming to make my mark in the industry. My accomplishments are evident for all to see. I released a new song some weeks ago and there are more to come. Music lovers should be ready. I am set to make them feel so good.”

Sogood, who is also a media personality, event host, showbiz promoter and entrepreneur, recalled that he started his career selling compact discs in the United Kingdom. According to him, his vision is to take a prime position in the Nigerian music scene, while conquering the world.

Speaking about his other activities, he said, “I am the co-founder of Afro Model Award in the United Kingdom. It is a burgeoning global fashion and style awards ceremony, which I established in 2011 to recognise, acknowledge and reward models, photographers, agencies, make-up artists, designers and innovators in the fashion industry. My aim is to create a global platform for fashion and style models.

“I am also one of the official disc jockeys for Afronation, Yam Carnival and Caribbean Splash. I was part of the group that brought about Caribbean Splash, with acts like Masicka Shenseea, Skinny Banton, Jab King, Nesbeth. The event was held at Brixton Academy in 2021, and it was a mixture of soca and dancehall music.”

The entertainment personality also stated that his love for music has taken him to various places across the world.

He added, “All my accomplishments have set me apart and prepared me for a return to shake the music scene in Nigeria in the nearest future.”
