Baby Girl on the Way for Jon Heder

Jon Heder will soon be a dad of four!

The star of the cult classic Napoleon Dynamite announced on Instagram that he and wife Kirsten are expecting their fourth child, a daughter, on Christmas Eve.

“Appropriate day to announce this. Gonna be a dad again! Kids had mixed reactions. Kidding, they’re all excited!” Heder, 38, wrote next to a photo depicting all three of his children holding a baby doll in various funny poses.

“Due date’s Christmas Eve though,” he continued, adding jokingly, “Haha, sucker … ”

Heder and Kirsten met when both were students at Brigham Young University and have been married since 2002. They are parents to 9-year-old daughter Evan and sons Philip, 7, and Timothy, 2.

“I think I was basically prepared for everything,” Heder told PEOPLE following Evan’s birth in 2007.

And though by now Heder is likely an old pro at being a dad, his Blades of Glory costar Will Ferrell knew he’d be a natural from the get-go.

“I think Jon will make a great father,” Ferrell said shortly before Evan’s birth. “He’s a good listener, and he likes children, that’s important.”
