Cops: Levittown Man Downloaded Video Chats of Child Porn
Videos depicting young girls with an adult man were downloaded between November and January, police say.
A Levittown man faces child pornography charges after he downloaded several video chat recordings of a man engaging in sexual acts with young children, according to Nassau County Police.
Charles Powers, 54, used his personal computer to download multiple explicit videos from a live internet video chat website, detectives said.
The digital files depicted several young girls between the ages of 5 and 8 performing sexual acts with an unidentified adult male, police said.

Powers pulled the videos onto his computer between Nov. 16 and Jan. 10, cops said.
Investigators were led to Powers, who was arrested at his home Monday, police said.

Powers was charged with five counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child and five counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead.
