San Antonio Commanders marketing their new nickname

SAN ANTONIO - Earlier this week, the local Alliance of American Football franchise revealed its new nickname - the San Antonio Commanders.

Other nicknames in the league include the Atlanta Legends, Birmingham Iron, Orlando Apollos, Memphis Express, Arizona Hotshots, Salt Lake Stallions and San Diego Fleet.

A 30-second promo video gives local football fans a sense of what the league was going for by picking a military-themed name.
