It's a big week for the final 24 contestants on The Voice, and one of them actually has local roots in Northwest Ohio.

"Any time I go out there and visit, my Grandma Sue and Grandpa Dave are so supportive of me and they love to show up to my events and watch me sing. They've just been a big part of my journey and always have reassuring messages."

14-year-old Reagan Strange traveled from Memphis to Los Angeles for the hit singing competition, but her grandparents have been cheering hard from Northwest Ohio.

Perrysburg residents Sue and Dave Kucinski continue to be awed by her singing to this day.

"I couldn't believe it myself. As just a kid, I can't believe she's this far," said Dave.

The Kucinski's say her heart is as big as her voice, as Strange sings at a local children's hospital and an assisted living facility.

"She's got a huge heart. She really is a good, good kid. She's very heartfelt and very loving," said Sue.

On Monday night, the live show begins, and Strange will know whether or not she makes the final 12 on Tuesday.

"To make it there would be unbelievable and I'd be so very grateful."

Sue will be traveling to Memphis on Monday to watch some of Strange's family members while she competes, so Sue and Dave are excited to watch, regardless of being apart.

"I think she'll do great. She will. She's just got such a pure voice," declared Sue.

The only way that Strange advances on is if viewers at home decide she deserves it.

"I've just been working at this for so, very long, and it means a lot to me just to have their support. Even if I don't I don't make it to top four, it will mean a lot to know that they were trying their best to get me to top 12, so I'm very grateful for that."
