Baymax and Hiro have officially landed at the brand new San Fransokyo Square which has officially opened at Disney California Adventure. On opening day, the line stretched into Cars Land with many clocking over a 2-hour wait to meet the fan-favorite duo.
How to Meet Baymax and Hiro
Because the line stretched so long on opening day, Disney could not guarantee WHO guests would actually be meeting that day so some guests got to meet Hiro or Baymax, or both of them at the same time. It truly was just luck of the draw.
For now, neither character is listed in the Disneyland app so you’ll have to head to Guest Services or talk to a Cast Member in San Fransokyo Square for the latest details about who is going to be meeting and greeting and when.
About the Location
The meet and greet takes place at the Hamada Bot Shop which replaced the former Pacific Wharf Distribution Co. Food Truck (which has found new life as the Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería ).
The backstory for this location is that following the events from the BIG HERO 6 film, this revived warehouse in the wharf of San Fransokyo has become the headquarters where Hiro, Baymax, and the Big Hero 6 team now build and innovate on their latest hi-tech gear. Eagle-eye fans will spot fun nods and easter eggs to the film and the series all around.
