BTS’ V has hit yet another milestone on Instagram. The South Korean singer-songwriter has done it again, now by crossing 50 million followers on Instagram making a new world record.

BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung has become the fastest person ever to surpass the 50 million follower count with just over eight months of his Instagram debut.

The South Korean boy band, BTS members including V aka Kim Tae-hyung, Jimin aka Park Jimin, Jungkook aka Jeon Jung-kook, Suga aka Min Yoon-gi, RM aka Kim Namjoon, J-hope aka Jung Ho-seok, and Jin aka Kim Seok-jin made their Instagram debut in December 2021.

BTS ARMY can’t get enough of V’s latest milestone. The fans of the global K-Pop star are celebrating this achievement all over the internet. Since the news breakout, #THV50MILLION and #TAEHYUNGINSTAGRAM50M is trending on Twitter.

BTS member V has been previously proven to be the strongest Instagram star by setting two Guinness World Records including reaching 1 million followers in just 43 minutes and gaining 10 million followers in just 4 hours and 52 minutes of opening the account.

Reaching 50 million followers in just over eight months has made V the fastest K-Pop idol to do so, surpassing BLACKPINK member Lisa’s thirty-three-month record.

After being in the music industry for over eight years, all seven members of the band decided to surprise their fans by opening their individual Instagram handles last year.

BTS member V recently appeared in the South Korean series In The Soop: Friendcation along with his Wooga Squad. The Disney Plus series featuring BTS’ V, Park Seojoon, Choi Wooshik, Peakboy, and Park Hyungsik followed the friend taking an adventurous vacation.
