This restaurant is located in the basement of an old building in downtown Hanover. There are two dining rooms and a third small eating area near the door. The appearance is old, but clean.
The restaurant appears to do a large takeout business. There was only one other table occupied when we stopped for lunch. The service was very good and I ordered a bowl of spicy hot and sour Tom Yum soup with tofu. My wife ordered the cashew delight with tofu.
Our order arrived fairly soon and both were on the small side compared to other Thai restaurants. However, the size was appropriate for lunch. My soup had an excellent flavor. It was in fact spicy hot and sour as advertised. My wife said her dish had excellent flavor as well. We will keep this restaurant in mind the next time we cone to Hanover.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 22, 2022
There is decent street parking on the street. The location is a little hidden in an alley and is in the basement. The restaurant is a little dated but is clean and had some nice decor.
It was a busy night and service was still good. The portions were okay and the food was good. The curry had good amounts of chicken and vegetables, I would ask for a higher spice level next time. The pad Thai with tofu was really good had a nice sweet taste to it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 252300815Jan 26, 2022
New menu so I thought I try some dishes that are new to me. Ordered the Half Maple Leaf Roasted Duck w Basil. Lots of stir-fried veggies included. The flavor was good, but a little dry. The deep-frying makes the bones extra crispy and EDIBLE!!! The dish did not include the thigh, drumstick or wing... all of my favorites... the moist/juicy dark meat. $28. The potstickers were just okay...$8. With tea, tax and tip, the bill for one came to $50.
This is my favorite Thai place in New England and I strayed away from my usual lunch of Eggplant Basil which is always a 10!... I was very hungry as I hadn't eat in 20 hours...Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 3, 2022
Especially factoring the area I would say this is good Thai food! It was bustling on a Sunday evening as well, which is a good sign!
My friends and I ordered takeout. We ordered different dishes rather than sharing family style. The servings were truly one serving size. The green curry with tofu was fine - wish there were more eggplant pieces. I ordered medium spice level but caught a hot pepper and dang it was HOT! My friends got the udon, which was good - I would echo with a different review that it was a bit on the oily side. The pad see ew was alright. We also got wings - might as well order from a wings place. They were on the dry side with no seasoning or much flavor.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer P.Thorncliffe, Calgary, Canada05Feb 21, 2024
Went for lunch and was initially delighted by the ambiance and jasmine tea we ordered. The service was quick. I ordered Drunken Noodle - pad kee mao - and my meal was sadly disappointing. When it arrived I thought there had been a mistake ... It actually looked like what remained of someone's discarded leftovers. The portion was a noticeably-meager cup and a half of noodle, with only a few tiny cubes of tofu, literally half a single green bean, and one sliver each of red and green pepper. For fifteen dollars. Flavor was good but ... Not the generous helping of veggies and noodles I am accustomed to at some of the other a Thai restaurants in the area and absolutely NOT worth the money.

I'd call this a hidden gem! Not super visible from the street and had to follow some signs to actually find the entrance. The restaurant was downstairs from the street entrance. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. We split some curry and Pad Thai - loved both of them!

An average college campus Asian restaurant. The location is great. The food isn't so.
On a Friday night, we stopped by to have dinner. Crispy tofu and chicken satay to start. Tofu was hot but the satay was not fresh off the grill (do they ever make them to order anymore?). For our mains, we had green curry, spicy udon, and pineapple fried rice. The udon was the only dish that came from a hot wok. It was spicy but a bit too oily. The fried rice was warm so probably microwaved. We couldn't taste the pineapple and the rice was soft. The green curry was way too salty so there was no way that I' was going to pour that onto the lukewarm rice.
Maybe it was the start of an off season because the school year is over but I would never find out how it is like during the school year as I was just passing by Dartmouth.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Wendy L.San Francisco Bay Area, CA171264Sep 29, 2023
Everything is so sweet. The pad Thai is super sweet. The crispy chicken was good. Super busy and not enough service person.

Food wasn't bad just a little boring. My drink didn't really have any alcohol in it. The service was great and the girl was really sweet. Id come back to give it another try as my husband liked it
