Paris has many things to do. This is a great site to take in while learning some history as well. Theres many shops right down the street so the location is great and you wouldnt have to go out of your way to check it out. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful piece of history to explore!!! Great spot to pass by and take in. Slightly too many crowds for me considering it backs up to the large shopping strip. Worth a stop on your first trip to Paris - so much to see!

Paris icon ~ massive art structure to honor those who fought in the French Revolution.
Larger in person, detailed sculptures adorning the Arc, eye catching whatever time of day at the top of the Champs-Elysees.
Car Chaos ~ amazed at the unwritten rules of no rules as drivers navigate around the turnabout. It is an experience to ride at street level in an Uber at times flinching expecting to collide with another vehicle. The open air top view from the 2-level bus tour is like a short Disney ride.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 7, 2023
I came here at the request of a friend and without knowing much about its history. I was floored. The respect for the French fallen, the history of their conquests, and the history of the Arc itself was stunning. The view of Paris and its suburbs from the top is arguably the best in Paris. Be prepared to do some waiting and do be respectful.

The arc is a historical Paris icon. It's very touristy. People ran across the insane roundabout to get into the arc area. Some people stood on the street eventhough cars were passing by for the pictures, which created traffic. There is a tunnel for the arc entrance, but it was only the entrance to go up and for guided tour which you had to get ticket.
