Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hope H.Honolulu, HI294119Nov 24, 2023
This is an excellent store for stationery, art supplies, and office products. Huge selection and very reasonable prices. Within walking distance from the JR Shinjuku Station. Highly recommended!

Great place for almost all of your art needs. Wonderful selection of art supplies and the frame shop was especially excellent. Helpful staff!

Came to this specific art store in Shinjuku in search of Holbein & Uni Mitsubishi colored pencils. These are pretty pricey & cannot be bought just anywhere. They are artist quality & if bought in Japan, are considerably cheaper than bought in US.
This store is great because they carry those specific brands & you can find a ton of other things here. The store is 2 stories & can get busy but all stores in Tokyo are busy.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Spencer K.Portland, OR182565Jul 6, 2018
I think this might be the best art store on the planet...
They have a crazy selection of goods from around the world, but just so much good stuff from japan. Every floor is different, every floor is fantastic, I want to live here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ksenia F.Miyamae-ku, Kawasaki, Japan81Feb 8, 2020

I love Seikado! Especially their cheeky version of Mona Lisa at the shop window.
This is an art supplies galore!
When I was here to frame my painting, I ended spending over an hour looking at frames and borders.
The staff are knowledgeable but you'll have to find them first as they are always busy.
Extra points for fair prices and good hours.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Tea P.Uehara, Shibuya, Japan02Apr 30, 2017
A must visit for artist, hobbyists or anyone that loves art supplies! They have 5 floors full of goodies. The 2nd floor is my favourite as they have ink, art books and an amazing range of paper. There's a 5th floor cafe and on the 6th floor, art lessons(?) Many of the supplies are a ton cheaper than home ( Winston and Newton ink is $4 compared to Australian prices $14). It's not Tax-free but they do have the 20% ( not sure if this is permanent though)
