Strength of the Dwarrows

Lotro Outfit

Dwarves or Dwarrows are a proud and stern race and were made to be sturdy to resist the dangers of their time. They are physically much stronger than Humans, Elves, and Hobbits, and have great endurance, especially in the ability to resist great heat and cold.

Even the Dwarf Rune-Keeper, who is clothed in Light Armour, has great Dwarf-endurance that help aid their survivability. I really wanted to show that great Dwarven strength in this outfit.

The Cloak I used is one of the new quest rewards from the Great River. Most of the quest rewards from this area are common looking but there are a few gems in the bunch. Look carefully and try all the rewards on in the dressing room (ctrl + left click) before making your decision.

The gloves and boots are from the old Helegrod Rune-Keeper set. In U6 they moved the ceremonial versions from the “Classics” vendor to the “Cosmetic” vendor at any Skirmish Camp around Middle Earth.

  1. Awesome outfit Devonna!! I love how well everything matches with the dark, dark black and silver trim on all the pieces. I will so be copying this one of my Dwarves as soon as I get my hands on that cloak! 😀

  2. Superb outfit for a dwarf! That cloak is exactly right with the rest of the pieces and perfect for a dwarf. Too bad the cloak doesn’t dye in lighter colours which makes black actually the nicest option.

  3. That looks amazing! I picked up that cloak on my main yesterday, definitely going to gather some dyes and get Hagges spiffied up.

Maybe I’ll finally get around to the Angmar Epic for that robe <..>

  4. Love the deep dark look. What a wonderful cloak. Perfect matching trim on all the pieces. I got those boots for my dwarf not a half day before you posted this! Never noticed them before the update.

  5. i like the outfit devonna! though in future if you pick robes on dwarves you must be carefull with the shape of the robe. for dwarves are hardy folk and in their armors and clothing they use hard square forms though your robe has some elegant forms in it. but still as always i like your outfit and it has something that makes the runekeeper have something elvish.

    • Yes, by Tolkien lore everything the Dwarves did from architecture, to weapons and even to armour held a constant geometric system of shapes. Even their written word was much more block shaped compared to the Elves. However, Dwarves in Lotro are sometimes hard to dress. I picked the robe because I felt it looked good on his shape 🙂

  6. looks awesome!
