Racing Bulls S.p.A, officially Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team and competing as RB, is an Italy Italian racing team owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull. It was rebranded from AlphaTauri to RB after the 2023 season.

History[edit]

On June 29, 2023, Red Bull Racing advisor Helmut Marko said in an interview that AlphaTauri would change its name for the 2024 season as part of a team restructuring and relocation that would see team operations move from Italy to the United Kingdom.[1] The team was reportedly shopping its naming rights, including to Aston Martin partner Hugo Boss.[2] On November 22, team CEO Peter Bayer said that the name would incorporate American sponsors.[3]

On January 24, 2024, the team officially rebranded to RB, incorporating American finance companies Visa and Cash App in their official name as Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team.[4]
