NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Following a third straight
MAAC tournament championship this Monday, the Iona College men's basketball team awaits the announcement of its NCAA Tournament opponent during the TBS aired NCAA Selection Show on Sunday, March 11. The Iona College community invites all friends, family, alumni and fans to join the Gaels for a Selection Show Watch Party at the Hynes Center starting at 4:45 p.m.

The two-hour selection show is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, airing live on TBS and streaming on NCAA.com. The Maroon & Gold open the doors to the Hynes Center at 4:45 p.m. Â A short program begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the airing of the selection show live on the video boards.

This year marks the fifth time in eight years and third straight season under head coach Tim
Cluess that Iona earns placement in the NCAA Tournament field. The Gaels earned the automatic bid by winning
Monday's MAAC Championship against Fairfield, 83-71.
Last season, the Maroon & Gold were selected as the No. 14 seed in the Midwest Region of the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
Jordan Washington '17 led the way with 22 points and 12 rebounds in a 93-77 setback to No. 3 seed, eventual regional champion and Final Four participant Oregon. Senior
