The track drops at the end of June.
UPDATE (June 21, 2023): Olivia Rodrigo has seemingly teased her next single, “Vampire.”
The singer shared lyrics on social media, which reads the following: “How do you lie?/ How do you lie?/ How do you lie?”
Additionally, there’s been a snippet circulating online of what appears to be “Vampire,” which can be heard once you call the SOUR heartbreak line.

UPDATE (June 15, 2023): Olivia Rodrigo took to social media to announce her upcoming single, “Vampire.”
“My new song ‘Vampire’ is out June 30th!” the singer captioned an Instagram post. “You can presave now. So excited for this ahhhhh!!!!!!! Additionally, she shared the artwork for the single, which is a black-and-white photo of her profile. A purple bandage appears on her neck, referencing a vampire bite.

UPDATE (May 22, 2023): It seems like fans can expect new music from Olivia Rodrigo sooner rather than later. The pop star revealed she’s finishing her second album.
On the second anniversary of SOUR, Rodrigo took to social media to share a few messages embracing her debut album as well as what’s to come. “Oh man oh man oh man. SOUR turns 2 years old today,” she captioned a post on Instagram. “No words could ever describe how much this album means to me and how insanely grateful I feel for every blessing it has brought into my life. The new stuff is so so so so so close to being done I pinky promise.”
She also shared a handwritten note on her official fan account. She wrote, “I can’t believe it’s been two years since SOUR came out. That album will always so so special to me…” She finished off by stating she’s “looking forward to all the things to come.”

ORIGINAL STORY (January 9, 2023): Olivia Rodrigo is teasing new music.
The musician took to social media to share a clip of herself jamming out to what appears to be a song in the making. “Working on so many new songs,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. “I’m excited to show you! Thank you for everything.”
The temporary video on her Story also features producer Dan Nigro — the mastermind behind Rodrigo’s debut album, Sour, which was released in May 2021. The pair were listening to a piano melody, teasing what’s to come.
Last February, Rodrigo shared some info on what to expect from her sophomore album.
“I have a title for my next album and a few songs,” she told Billboard at the time. “It’s really exciting to think about the next world that’s coming up for me. I just love writing songs. I’m trying not to put too much pressure on myself. [I want to] just sort of explore and have fun right now.”
