I want glamour…
June 19, 2010
A couple of years ago a night out involved a fragment of glamour and everything had a sparkle to it. Then the glamour faded as the pressure to have it all was quickly replaced with the fashion of ‘effortless chic’. Whilst out at lunch with a friend today on Broadway Market, I was asked if I really meant effortless chic or ‘effortless sh*t’?
I couldn’t say much as I had literally put on an outfit, not caring about how I’d thrown it together (something I am doing a little too often of late!)
I want GLAMOUR…. so it’s back to making an ‘effort’, as let’s face it – what else is there to do in a recession – other than dress up and style it out?
