I have a few seedlings named Faucaria woollii, seeds from Koehres. I can't find anything about them. They look identical to my tigra seedlings. Anyone have any information?
Many thanks
Col

Re: Faucaria woollii
I can't find it as a published name, e.g. IPNI. Probably a nurseryman's invention.

Re: Faucaria woollii
Hi Col,
I have not met this Faucaria but Googling it does bring up an image of what looks more like F.paucidens to me having very few teeth. There are a number of images posted so see what you think. Has it flowered and what colour flower?

It also features on several german seed lists, spelt as either woolii or woollii.
Was also available on recent BCSS seed lists eg 2015-2016 and 2017-2018.

Re: Faucaria woollii
I have a plant grown from BCSS seed that I acquired a couple of months ago. I too failed to find a conclusive reference to the "species".
This is the little fellow.
Compared to F. paucidens

Re: Faucaria woollii
Thank you all,
It's very useful (and a massive privilege) to have such a wealth of knowledge to hand.
Not the best of light, first photo planted around 6 months before the second photo

Re: Faucaria woollii
Thanks for the photo Col. I'm not familiar with F.woolii either but your young Faucarias look a lot like F.gratiae. It's a bit of a long-shot but there was a F.hooleae that was sunk into F.gratiae and at a stretch I suppose hooleae could be taken for woolii...
