Maybe you think of your favorite Disney movie or the classic Mickey Mouse. Either way we cannot doubt how popular Disney is and that it is ultimately one of the biggest brands in the world. Recently reaching its 100 year anniversary, Disney had been around for quite a bit and has made some huge accomplishments in its time.
One of the best words to describe Disney is simply magic. It takes you on adventures into unknown worlds and shows you so many different people. From adventures, laughs, and romance, to singing, dancing, and love, Disney inspires and touches the hearts of so many people. It touches on so many subjects and messages. So many people have grown up on Disney, and it is a part of who they are. Disney has been a pillar in the world. Spreading joy and love to all who enter its magical world.
One of the parts that make Disney so wonderful is the music. There are crazy amounts of classic songs that have been sung along to that have come from these movies. With great lyrics and amazing music, Disney creates songs that get stuck in your head for a very long time. From musicals to all time classics, they have hit every genre and continue to showcase their amazing musical talents with every new masterpiece they bring out.
Disney started back on October 16, 1923. It began with the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio which was founded by Walt Disney and his brother Roy in Hollywood, California. With first just drawing cartoons, Walt Disney soon became interested in animation. After putting out a few short films like “Alice’s Wonderland” and “Steamboat Willie,” Disney put out his first big hit film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” in 1937. After that, the Walt Disney Company starting putting out loads of evolutionary films and even opened up theme parks across the world.
Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Continuing to grow and expand, Disney purchased brands like Pixar, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm that have been great investments. Disney has made a tremendous impact on the entertainment industry and is one of the biggest media companies. It has a huge range of movies that has something for everyone. It has created so much love and happiness for so many years. So take a moment to acknowledge Disney’s 100 year anniversary, and give thanks to the people who made it all happen.
