How Powerful is Yuki Tsukumo in Jujutsu Kaisen?
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 22 gave viewers their first taste of Yuki Tsukumo’s strength when she easily neutralized Uraume’s potent technique Icefall, rescuing Yuji and his allies. The revelation of her true strength will come during the Culling game arc. Yuki is extremely skilled in jujutsu and has exceptional combat instincts.
She can use barrier techniques, domain expansion, and her innate technique. Yuki’s strength is demonstrated by the fact that she taught Aoi Todo the art of jujutsu and helped him develop into the remarkable grade 1 sorcerer that he has become. Even though Yuki was assigned a special grade, Jujutsu Headquarters knew very little about her abilities.
Nevertheless, Yuki has demonstrated her strength against some of the greatest opponents and has shown her support for her allies. Yuki not only stood her ground during the Culling Games arc, but she also repeatedly overpowered the malevolent ancient sorcerer. She easily eliminated Kenjaku’s special grade curse.
Yuki Tsukumo’s Innate Cursed Technique And Shikigami
Yuki has been classified as a special grade, meaning that her cursed energy is likely much greater than average. Her ability to control her cursed energy is very great as Yuki has no trouble alternating between her innate technique, the reverse cursed technique, and anti-domain strategies like simple domain.
Through her innate technique, Yuki can give herself and her shikigami, Garuda, virtual mass. With the added mass, Yuki and Garuda’s attacks have a devastating destructive force that can easily destroy anything in their way, even a special-grade curse. Yuki’s innate technique is also closely linked to her shikigami.

Star Rage gives Garuda virtual mass, turning it into a cursed weapon that Yuki can use in combat. Additionally, Garuda can fight and subdue Yuki’s opponents on its own; setting up scenarios in which they can engage in side-by-side combat.
