TBS is launching a full-scale entry into the gaming industry using our ultimate weapon: the power of content creation.

We are not a company that just makes good TV. We want to make experiences.

We will deliver the most impressive gaming experiences through consumer, mobile, PC, arcade, card, board games, and other gaming types to best suit our customers.

As with other famous game characters, we aim to turn our original IPs into household names through the creation of games that enrich the lives of players everywhere.
the site helpfully lists a few of their shows which already have game adaptions, but let's look at the one on the bottom-left.

that's Takeshi's Castle, a well-known game show which got a pair of Famicom games that used the Family Trainer controller (that's the Japanese name for the Power Pad, for the record. it was a 3rd-party accessory which Nintendo published themselves in western markets.)
but before that, the host, Takeshi Kitano. collabrated with Taito to create one of the most utterly bizzare and difficult adventure games ever.

Takeshi no Chōsenjō/Takeshi's Challenge is commonly considered to be one of the worst games ever made, and garnered quite a cult following because of it.
there were a few attempts to inexplicably create a sequel previously. with Microsoft, of all companies. planning to make one to push the Xbox in Japan. they reportedly got Kitano and Taito's approval. but it was canned after the latter got heavily restructured.
an iOS and Android port of the original was eventually made in 2017, which added a bit of new content. but a proper AAA sequel seems exactly like the sort of thing TBS would make to get a big splash in the industry.
(do note that despite the fact Takeshi's Castle's popularity was the reason Takeshi's Challenge got made in the first place. TBS doesn't own the IP, it's instead shared between Takeshit Kitano and Taito, though that can't stop TBS from signing a liscense aggreement with the two to use it.)

Takeshi's Castle was overdubbed in the US for a show called Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. I could definitely see that making a great video game if done right, it's basically Fall Guys with more personality.

the first project from the new studio has been released

…it’s a Famicom-styled adventure game. literally dropped on the Japanese Switch eshop after it’s reveal (though a retail release is planned later)
One day at the TBS studio… immediately after the recording of Quiz Seikai wa Ichingengo, a completely transformed Razor Ramon RG was discovered behind the studio!

“This is a murder case…!” Activating his gray brain cells, Detective Atsushi Tamura sets off on an investigation. Inexplicable testimonies, suspicious activities with no alibi, and co-stars going every which way…

notably being distributed by Phoenixx, the studio who also co-published the fairly fun (though sadly currently unplayable in English) Survival Quiz City.
