@Akim so what would happen to Antonov ???

Who has its leadership

Is american rival planning to overtake ???

And if yes would ukraine would allow them ????
It works, just issue size less. In a market economy, it could not compete without government support. Now received the state order for development attack UAV and a new aircraft Close air support to replace the old Su-25. In late November, presented to the technical documentation for the production of a new military trainer aircraft.

There once was a big room for China-Ukraine collaboration. MA-60 for one is based on an Antonov prototype. And there's a big order for Ukraine's grain export to China worthy of around $3 bil - not sure how it continues as the deal was made during Yanukovych's reign.

An episode - there is a trilateral discrepany over Zubr LCAC settlement - both Ukraine and Russia asked Chinese for the balance of payment for Zubr now that the factory remains in Russia controlled Crimea.

The survival of Antonov is indeed a big problem. Unlike the Soviet era it has lost a big domestic market in the centrally planned economy then it has to solely depend on global competition against other established and strong players and probably downsize to sustain itself similar to your shipbuilding industry (Varyag) @Akim
Ukraine wants to buy the license to produce J-31.

Latest news indicate that Ukraine has cut all routes to Crimea.

Yes. All blocked. Train, bus, transport trucks. Only transport cars.
also UKR banks have closed down putting pensioners in a trouble of receiving their money. it's reported an "exodus" is ongoing fm Krimea. even when it was held by UKR many were already making their living in the west like Poland.

certainly it takes a long time for what's promised to Crimeans of "aligning with the living standards of Russia" against the reported inflation.

IMO perhaps there has been an "de-industrialization" process there like what happened in Central Asian Stans after the break-up.

Ukrainian banks were closed long ago on the peninsula. Now stop all. It was beneficial in the Crimea to get Russian salaries and to buy food for Ukrainian prices. However, this has nothing to do with the theme of "Antonov".

Was there any civilian aircraft that was capable of being competitive from Antonov?

Most civilian aircraft were from Tupolev and Ilyushin.

It all depends on the region. In the USSR, civil An operated often in difficult conditions and on poor airfields in Siberia.
