Another bird introduced to Hawaii (1928 from South America).
Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi Allen, another interesting bird with that red head and bright white. The perch he is on seems to match the pose of the bird somewhat - curvy and then upright. I like seeing the eye so well even the pupil.
Nice shot Allen. I love that eye, and the red really pops. I remember seeing some of these in Maui when we went fifteen years ago. Seems like Hawaii has more than it’s share of intruders. . . mongoose, feral pigs, etc.
