Dromedary Camel (camelus dromedarius)

- Diet: almost any vegetation - Habitat: deserts and semi-arid grasslands - Range: native to northern Africa and the Middle East; introduced into Australia

- Fun fact: camels store water in almost every cell of their body. They can drink 30 gallons of water at one time and can travel up to 100 miles without another drop!
