Original Post:

The cows are moooo-ving in! Seventy-five decorated cows have been placed around Boston for the New England Cow Parade to celebrate 75 years of The Jimmy Fund. These life-sized cows have been sprinkled throughout Boston neighborhoods at highly trafficked public landmarks such as Boston Common, City Hall Plaza, and Fan Pier Park. Each cow has been designed by a local New England Artist in celebration of the great impact the Jimmy Fund has had over the last 75 years. You can visit the cows until September 4th – check out their locations here. You don’t want to miss this legend-dairy event!

The New England Cow Parade is part of a national Cow-Parade campaign. The Campaign is considered the largest public art event in the world and has reached over 250 million people. Over 5,000 cows have been created, decorated and placed in major cities all over the world, raising over $30 million for worldwide charitable organizations.

The New England Cow–Parade Cows can be purchased in support of the Jimmy Fund via an online auction. All proceeds directly benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s efforts to defy cancer.

Check out the cows in the Seaport District, and you can see them at Martin’s Park and along the Harbor Walk.  Follow the cows on Instagram here!
