MAURICE DEAN WINT has been an active participant in the entertainment industry in this country for more than thirty years. Originally from Leicestershire England he aspired to a career in the arts early on and has managed to establish himself as a highly skilled and diversified performer. An Honours Graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre, he has dedicated a good part of his career to the stage, appearing in numerous dramatic productions. On camera, Maurice has played leading roles in a handful of memorable features including Vincenzo Natali's CUBE, John L'Ecuyer's CURTIS’S CHARM, Clemente Virgo's RUDE and John Cameron Mitchell's Sundance award-winning HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. His small screen ventures include regular and recurring characters in a variety of different television series and miniseries including SHOOT THE MESSENGER, HAVEN, REGENESIS, PSI FACTOR, TEKWAR, CAPTAIN POWER, BLUE MURDER, ROBOCOP: PRIME DIRECTIVES as well as guest appearances in a plethora of movie-of-the-week and episodic programs - SUITS, MURDOCH MYSTERIES, TRANSPORTER: THE SERIES, FLASHPOINT, THE LISTENER, HEARTLAND, THE OUTER LIMITS to name a few. His involvement in the animation, commercial voiceover and documentary narration arena has also been quite extensive.
