This 2016 BMW R1200GS Adventure is powered by a 1,170cc DOHC opposed twin mated to a six-speed transmission and an enclosed driveshaft, and it is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic Matte with black and silver accents. Equipment includes electronic fuel injection, a skid plate, a Telelever front end, triple disc brakes with Brembo calipers and BMW Motorrad ABS, and laced wheels with rim-edge spokes as well as a navigation system, a clear windscreen, two-up seating, crash bars, auxiliary lights, heated hand grips, detachable BMW-branded side cases, and both center and side stands. The motorcycle was reportedly acquired new by the seller’s father, and it now has 6k miles. This R1200GS is now offered at no reserve in Pennsylvania by the seller on behalf of his father with a clean Arizona title.
The bike is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic Matte with black and silver accents. Features include a clear windscreen, bolstered two-up seating, a skid plate, a 7.9-gallon fuel tank with debossed GS logos, and both center and side stands as well as silver-finished crash bars, detachable BMW-branded side cases, quadruple headlights with an LED running light, and a pair of auxiliary lights.
Black-finished rims measuring 19″ up front and 17″ out back are laced with rim-edge spokes and are wrapped in Continental TKC 80 tires. The rider-switchable anti-lock braking system is equipped with four-piston Brembo calipers mounted over a pair of 305mm front discs as well as a two-piston Brembo caliper paired with a 276mm rear rotor. The Telelever front end combines a 37mm telescopic fork with a central shock, while the Paralever single-sided swingarm is fitted with an adjustable monoshock.
The silver-finished handlebar is mounted to the upper triple clamp via risers and is equipped with heated grips, dual mirrors, and hand guards as well as switchgear for the ABS, navigation system, and suspension. Instrumentation consists of a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline, and a digital display with readouts for riding mode, fuel level, gear position, time of day, and fuel economy. The digital odometer shows 6k miles.
The 1,170cc DOHC opposed twin is equipped with electronic fuel injection, a three-phase alternator, four valves per cylinder, and a two-into-two exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 125 horsepower and 92 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in May 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a hydraulically-actuated multi-plate wet clutch, a six-speed transmission, and an enclosed driveshaft.
