This 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic over beige leather. Equipment includes a sunroof, bi-xenon headlights, Parktronic, 19″ AMG wheels, Airmatic Dual Control suspension, power-adjustable heated and ventilated dynamic front seats, Keyless Go, cruise control, four-zone automatic climate control, walnut trim, and COMAND infotainment with a CD changer. The car was sold new in Louisiana and spent time in Minnesota prior to the seller’s purchase in 2018. This C219 CLS55 AMG is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, spare parts, a battery maintainer, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The AMG version of the CLS received revised lower body styling, and this example is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic. Features include bi-xenon headlights with Active Curve Illumination as well as a sunroof, fog lights, Parktronic parking sensors, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an electronic trunk closer, a rear decklid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. Scrapes are present below the bumper, and blemishes in the paint can be viewed in the gallery.
AMG 19″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires, and curb rash is present on the wheels. The car is equipped with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), speed-sensitive power steering, and Airmatic Dual Control air suspension. The upper and lower ball joints and front and rear air shocks were replaced in 2019. Stopping power is provided by Brembo rotors paired with ceramic brake pads.
The four-passenger cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in beige leather along with a matching lower dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior amenities include power-adjustable heated and ventilated dynamic front seats, walnut trim, Harman Kardon LOGIC7 surround sound, a power-operated rear-window sunshade, Keyless Go, cruise control, Mercedes-branded floor mats, and four-zone automatic climate control.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 48k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The supercharged 5.4-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Service under current ownership included replacing the battery, engine mounts, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, and air filter.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift five-speed automatic transmission. The transmission mounts were replaced and the transmission fluid was flushed under current ownership.
Manufacturer’s literature, a battery maintainer, and spare parts are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, notes a manufacturer’s safety recall for the sliding roof bonding, and lists history in Louisiana, Minnesota, and Florida.
