This 1980 Honda CB750K is powered by a 749cc DOHC inline-four paired with a five-speed transmission and is finished in black with tri-tone pinstripes. Equipment includes a stepped two-up seat, an electric starter, a four-into-four exhaust system, a telescopic fork, a front disc brake, and wire-spoke wheels. The bike is said to have spent approximately four decades with the previous owner’s family before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022. Work performed in preparation for the sale included adjusting the timing chain tension, flushing the brake fluid, cleaning the four Keihin carburetors, and replacing the battery, spark plugs, and tires. This CB750K shows 16k miles and is now offered at no reserve in Wisconsin with a tool kit and a clean Iowa title.
The bodywork is finished in black and is accented by tri-tone pinstripes as well as gold and red badges. Equipment includes street lighting, a stepped two-up seat, a passenger grab rail, chrome fenders, and both center and side stands. The selling dealer notes dings in the right side of the fuel tank and a repaired seam on the seat.
Laced wheels with chrome-steel rims were mounted with 100/90-19 front and 130/90-17 rear Kenda Challenger tires in preparation for the sale. Suspension consists of a telescopic fork as well as twin shocks mounted to the swingarm. Stopping power is provided by a disc brake up front along with a drum brake at the rear. The front brake fluid was flushed by the selling dealer.
Instrumentation sitting ahead of the chrome handlebar consists of a Nippon Denso 85-mph speedometer, a matching tachometer with a 9,500-rpm redline, and a central bank of indicator lights. The five-digit odometer shows 16k miles.
The air-cooled 749cc DOHC inline-four features an electric starter and a chrome four-into-four exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 72 horsepower and 46 lb-ft of torque. Work performed in preparation for the sale included changing the oil, cleaning the four 30mm Keihin carburetors, adjusting the timing chain tension, and replacing the battery and spark plugs.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a wet multi-plate clutch, a five-speed transmission, and a drive chain.
