This 1977 Yamaha XS650 is powered by a 653cc SOHC parallel twin paired with a five-speed transmission and is finished in burgundy with black and gold accents and chrome fenders. Features include a bench seat, an electric starter, a chrome two-into-two exhaust system, a front disc brake, wire-spoke wheels with flanged alloy rims, and both center and side stands. The bike was acquired by the selling dealer from its original owner in 2022, and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale. The bike is finished in burgundy with gold and black graphics and chrome fenders. Features include a bench seat with chrome trim and a grab strap as well as a lift-assist handle, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands.
Wire-spoke wheels with flanged alloy rims measuring 19″ up front and 18″ at the rear are mounted with Dunlop D404 tires showing 2006 date codes. Suspension is handled by a conventional telescopic fork as well as a pair of preload-adjustable KYB shocks mounted to the swingarm. Brakes consist of a front disc and a rear drum.
The pullback handlebar carries dual mirrors and fronts a 140-mph Nippon Seiki speedometer, a matching tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, a vertical row of warning lights, and the keyed ignition switch. The five-digit odometer shows 8,600 miles, approximately 20 of which were ridden by the selling dealer.
The 653cc SOHC parallel twin features a counterbalanced crankshaft, a pair of 38mm Mikuni CV carburetors, both electric and kick starters, and a chrome dual exhaust system with low-mounted reverse-cone megaphone mufflers. The oil was changed by the selling dealer in May 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a drive chain.
