This 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe is said to have been modified in street-rod style in the early 2000s under prior ownership, and it is powered by a 221ci flathead V8 linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a Speedway rear axle. The car is finished in black over red and black upholstery, and a refurbishment in 2020 saw the addition of upgraded suspension components, chassis reinforcements, four-wheel disc brakes, and a Pioneer CD stereo. Other features include Offenhauser cylinder heads, chrome engine components, chrome bumpers and trim, chrome American Racing 15″ wheels, a heater, a battery-powered clock, a Hurst shifter, a Sunpro tachometer, and rear seats. This modified Ford was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2022 and is now offered with a Pennsylvania title.
