Yellow Woodsorrel - Oxalis dillenii
Creeping Yellow Woodsorrel - Oxalis corniculata
Woodsorrel tends to grow in woodlands, meadows, and in disturbed areas. Oxalis stricta differs from other wood sorrels by being more erect and grow 6-15″ tall (unless mowed down).
Oxalis stricta also has hairy stems whereas Oxalis dillenii stems are more smooth.
Oxalis corniculata, Oxalis stricta and Oxalis dillenii all have small yellow 5-parted blossoms.
