All of the big plants in flower are Pachypodium succulentums at our nursery. Note the diversity of flower colors that this species can exhibit.

On the right are examples of the two different caudex sizes ($15. and $20.) of the Pachypodium succulentum seedlings that we offer. They are kept buried beneath the soil because at this stage it seems to make them grow faster and better.

These are the flowers of a group of African Pachypodiums, where, more often than not, it is difficult to distinguish the different species due to very similar sizes, shapes and leaf forms. Sometimes you have to wait until one blooms to tell what species you have.
