A 17-year-old boy stabbed during a disturbance in Greater Manchester died of a single stab wound to the chest, post-mortem tests have revealed.

Cody Turner was found by officers called to Tonge Moor Road in Bolton on Thursday night.

It is believed he suffered the injury at a house before collapsing in the street. He died in hospital later.

Detectives have been given more time to question a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of his murder.

A 34-year-old woman and two teenagers, both aged 18, were questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have been released on bail.

All four people were arrested at the scene on Thursday.

In a statement released on Friday, Cody's family said the teenage Liverpool fan would be missed by all of his family and friends.

"Cody was a clever, polite, well-loved lad who would do anything for anyone," they said.

"He loved Liverpool Football Club, he was funny with a brilliant sense of humour."

His sister Lois added: "We were very close, I will miss him winding me up."
